08/14/2017Enrolled at Berea College in 2021. I majored in Chemistry (concentrated in Biochemistry) on the premedical track. I was the President of Chemistry Club, Vice President of the Pre-Health Professions Club, and a woodworker at the Muller Craft Building. Graduated cum laude on 05/04/2025.
08/25/2021Earned my first and second summer research experiences in the Pozzi Lab at VUMC. I studied the role of Discoidin Domain Receptor 1 in kidney fibrosis. Remained in the Pozzi Lab for summer 2022 and 2023.
05/30/2022Earned my third research summer with the Markey Cancer Center at the University of Kentucky in 2024. I studied the role of an integrin in metabolic reprogramming in triple-negative breast cancer in the O'Connor Lab.
05/27/2024Entered a post-bacc. experience with the Markey Cancer Center for the 2025-26 academic year while applying to MD/PhD programs.
